Love it! How do you always get this great colour in your macro shots?

Many thanks Sabrina – really appreciated!!

It’s very simply a few bits of coloured acetate across a lamp and then a little tweaking with curves in Fireworks (similar to Photoshop, if you’ve not come across it before). I’m just dabbling really – still rejecting 50% of the shots I take and only posting those I reckon are worth it. Probably what most of us are doing (pros alike). There’ve been quite a few times over the last week or so when I’ve had to reject the whole lot of about 50 shots or so because I just couldn’t get the light or the colours right! Still learning I think!
